Congratulations to Lisa Kannakko, Jane Reid, Karen Auger and Debbie Pollock (lined up left to right in the attached picture) who won four straight games to win the two-day Dragon Spiel at St. George's Golf & Country Club.

PCC is hosting this 2-day workshop Apr. 14 and 15/12.  A combination of on-ice and classroom activities, it is designed to train a coach of a medium to advanced performance team.  There is no prerequisite for the course and you can register on the OCA website at ontcurl.com.  If you have any questions, please contact Steve Whitehill at swhitehill@cogeco.ca or Chris Hushagen at peterboroughcurling@cogeco.net. 

Don't miss the perenially popular Saturday Night Social Curling!  You can learn how to curl (no equipment required) or if you're an experienced curler, come and enjoy the fun and sociability.  Curling starts at 7 pm - be sure to arrive by 6:30 pm to register.  Cost is $7.00 per person or $10.00 per couple.

If you’re looking for a chance to practice on weekends, there will be ice available between 9:30 am and 11:30 am on Sunday mornings.  You can either join the Sunday Tag Draw or practise on your own on an open sheet.
